Fine fabrics, spices, collect goods - or money?

At last the time had come: On our Games weekend I had three male players found to play with them the "connoisseur Game of the Year". Declared it was very clear and competent of two women (the then but went away after the declaration and not played along) us in just 20 minutes. This funny constellation noticed a lot of temporary and players remained briefly standing at our table and looked at us. And there is a typical "men play" because it comes to money and business and smugglers and tactical decisions. So nonsense: It's a really smart-made, very good game for women and men, young and old, experienced and casual gamers experienced players.

Here to gameplay only the basics: You're a businessman in Istanbul and have four assistants. You want to acquire a total of five red rubies, then you've won. To get the jewels, you pull each having 1 or 2 steps at 16 different locations (variable scheduled 4x4 fields): In the two mosques You gain valuable mosque platelets, simplify all further moves. In the three warehouses You get fruit, fabrics and spices, for trading purposes. In the two markets and on the black market you can act. At the police station you can loseisen a relative and send for you on a mission. In the tea room is rolled because your cash inventory can significantly increase. Or are you working completely trustworthy, you deserve money and then go to the gem merchants and earn you rubies at a fixed price. But watch out if you have used all your mates, then you can not do anything more and must at an earlier place of action only once again pick up a mate; or all the way back to the well and collect all the assistants. And then there's also still the governor and the smuggler and the other merchants and their relatives, which you sometimes encounter at one venue, then there's always something going on. And again, there's also still the action cards, which can be very helpful, but one must also get first time ...

Why this "expert play of the year" for me "Game of the Year" is:
+ The game has clear, well-designed rules that can be relatively easy to understand and internalize because they are internally consistent and implement the game on "Buy and action in Istanbul" convincing.
