I am a little disappointed with this book, I expected to realize a lot of things but eventually I stay on my hunger. I did not count it all as hardware and software to do all that is in it, but to be rich. For software, if you do not have Photoshop and Photomatix drop a number of projects. Even for the pros GIMP is not easy to find or even Photoshop equivalents. For equipment: a reflex, flashes, distances triggers, using TLR camera format (bi-Ojectives), scanner, objectives tinkering, rings and caps of all kinds, tripod, ND filter, disassemble old appliances or toss ... etc
This book by a good idea but the topics are too superficially. For someone who has bought a photographer's shop and has a bunch of junk to tinker and not afraid to break the material, it can be useful.
Some topics helpful and friendly: all that is creative cube light, beauty bowl cuts flow the photo of a water drop, smoke, and bokeh filter
