All the old and not much new

As an avid Formula 1 fan I wait eagerly each year to the new Formula 1 game of Codemasters.Ich Games since 1995 on any platform Formula 1 games and can think I have a say good terms Formula 1 games.
Thanks to my wholesaler, I was able to test extensively since the 13:10:14 the F1 2014 game.

First I read me on the back of the new features of the game box by because there is always touted what it is so new. But as already set out the disillusion. Apparently there are only 3 points that are praise.

1) New cars, teams and rules of the 2014er season (Well, what you would expect at a real title of Formula 1 in 2014's)

2.) All distances of the 2014 season (including the expected at a game that F1 2014 is)

3.) A new classification system searches for the level of difficulty for you (well, one actually only runs 2 rounds against 2 AI opponents, depending on whether you driter, second or first, is the difficulty is proposed then stop, that's it.

Nothing else is mentioned what should be new and it shows then also when playing F1 2014.

The graphics are compared to F1 in 2013 remained the same because nothing has been improved, but that's not a criticism and I do not left negative because at the XBox360 and PS3 consoles probably just nothing is rauszuholen, for me is not so important, because the graphics are perfectly fine.

Unfortunately F1 2014 nothing was as good improved drivability is pretty much identical to its predecessor, I have a feeling that something was still arcardiger and the cars have to be somewhat slower geqäult around the curves.
For me, but also no point of criticism, because I so just fine coming.

But now to the points that bother me tremendously and where I'm actually assumed these features are implemented in F1 2014 or would Könen be implemented if Codemasters would but listen to the Cominity.

The penalty system is still as cruel as its predecessors.

When entering the pit lane the computer takes complete control, why do you build a not an option that you own in the box to the pit stand and can go out of the box again?

No TV overlays, or at least a HUD where the distances between the front and backers are displayed.
There the distance to the vehicle ahead and the distance to the man behind all that is shown, is no longer what makes a decent pit stop strategy impossible. Even Formula 1 from 1996 that was possible, and these are now already 18 years ago.

A warm-up lap, there still does not, but this is also a point that does not bother me so, denoch it would have been nice feature.

Failures of AI riders during a race as good as non-existent, at the races that I'm so far down, a maximum of 2 riders did not finish the race, one of them has been disqualified, the other probably had a failure. That is too little and unreal table.

Multiplayer: Also there is always something bothered me what you could improve or change. If you join a game and it runs the qualification, so you can not participate in this, one is relegated the maximum of 15 minutes to wait until the qualification is over. Why can not I take part in the remaining time of the qualification and will have to wait until this is over?

These are the points that could be really improved, but unfortunately everything has remained the same.

And finally the implementation of the motor sounds that simply listen to cruel, the Ferrari is the schlimsten, when accelerating out of the corners roars the thing that you want their ears. In reality, the engine sound is ran only rudimentary.

Award ceremony after the race is still not what I do not however think that bad, something I do not need, I celebrate myself after the race in my chair.

F1 2014 offers nothing new, it's all stayed the same and even missing something. A 80's and 90 Classic mode as in F1 in 2013 no longer exists.

The Young Drivers tests there is no longer even, but this is also a feature that you need not necessarily miss.

F1 2014 now recommended anyway?
So whom it is important to continue with the current drivers and teams, want to ride on the new routes which are this year came about and who do not mind the price of a full price title, can access, but must otherwise expect nothing new.

For console owners of F1 2013 Codemaster owners have the latest drivers, teams and 3 routes the 2014er season can offer as DLC for 10-15, that would have been fair.
For PC owners is worth F1 2014 even less, because for F1 in 2013, there are numerous mods where you can download for the 2014 season F1 2013 your.

All other F1 2013 can I recommend, there you have basically the same gameplay, just stop with the 2013er drivers and teams.

Or particularly valuable as a predicate: F1 2012. Why? The last season where Michael Schumacher drove.
There is nothing better than Michael Schumacher select riders and to try the F1 2013er Championship win with him.

Now How do I rate F1 2014? that's difficult for me, it's good, but just as good as nothing new and no improvements. I can therefore unfortunately only awarded 2 stars, because F1 2013 gives me just as much as the same and even a bit more.
