I have another window with a competition film of Scotch, Tartan film-covered.
In comparison, the Tartan film of Scotch fares better. Unfortunately, Amazon has not in the program, but a large discounter has in a year offer.
All images have the following explanations:
Invisibility (the attachment): Poor. The double adhesive tape are yellowish - the competition can do better.
Invisibility (film): Moderately. The film is matt and at the beginning easily less transparent than the glass. This will improve as soon as the film is stretched and cooled and has relaxes. However, the competition can do better. The Tartan film is much brighter at the beginning, but arises in the final state a lot unsichtbareres result. The reflection is low, the clarity of the plastic much better.
Durability: Moderately. The double adhesive tape keep the strained films unsure - compared to competitor. One has the film rebonding / press again. It helps to heat up again with the hair dryer, the splice. The Scotch product holds securely and firmly.
Function: Good - the heat is actually held inside (This results in a temperature difference of 2 degrees between stringed and unbespanntem window at indoor / outdoor temperature of 20 / 14C).
Installation: very simple, coarse attach to tension balance remaining waves with hairdryer.
However, Tesa is silent about whether you can be permanently attached to the film.
3M Scotch know out that the film should not stick more than six months at the window. Why this is so, however, is not executed.
