When you open the box you come before the first problem. The cover is so well adapted to the soil that you can hardly take it off. On one corner there always attracts, which makes it then happens to us. that the cover is torn at one edge. This makes the opening of the box but not easier.
If you have now fought one can take a look at the beautiful game material. Apart from a small Schedule incl. Groove for the Tikis of the box are still tickets, Pawns and Tikis in different colors at. Why, however, the latter are all packed into individual plastic bags is not quite clear to me. The Tikis are however really nice in hand and simply feel "right" to.
The game instructions are read quickly. First, the Tikis are sorted according to their back and packed into the groove. Each player shuffles his cards face down and puts away two plays with the rest. An order cards indicates each player, what points he could get this round. So far so good, it will now be alternately played cards and Tikis moved briskly, or removed. This is so long, played all the cards to either or only three Tikis are left.
So far so good. Sounds all still quite interesting to. We thought well, playing merrily away without hesitation. What at the time but was not aware of is the fact that the game really at any time under control. Do not get me wrong. I love games where you thwart the plans of the enemy and thus this can bring to incandescence. But here, this is hardly possible. Constantly changing the Tikis their location and you're never really sure what will come out in the end. While you can guess who was the objective, but to thwart this and his own to enforce is a matter of luck. Fortunately so far that you have any more "powerful" cards than your opponent, and this out the cards in necessary moment. What emerges is an unholy mess that is at no time really entertaining, even thrilling. It feels more subject to capricious deity who makes a what she wants.
