Basically, I am pleased with the results. In particular, with video that has worked quite well. When setting the camera images had never raised outdoors (although fresh raccoon marks on the car). I can not say why now, however. I assume that the object distance 6m borderline for triggering was (even though I had asked sensitivity to 12m). When testing in the apartment had everything worked (also sequential shots). The people moving there were probably big enough.
Response speed: The camera is in my opinion a bit too sluggish. In my photographs mostly was the triggering moment is no longer with the pictures / videos. Whether humans or animals, what it was I saw only when the object was staying a little longer in the receiving area. In particular, marten are against ziehmlich quickly. Therefore, I had worked in the end only with video and 30s film length. The raccoon was in the time usually back into the picture.
In the menu setting, the unit is a bit problematic, because not completely intuitive, and according to the description is not fully comprehensible. With a bit of trying (I before the field trial in the apartment made) you get out already how to do it and match the parameters. But you should note down as after 3 weeks (as I said, not everything is logical), I had already forgotten much.
I had the impression that the menu settings are sometimes lost when you remove the memory card. But if you turn off the unit and only then removed the card, then survived the settings. Had incidentally installed a SanDisk Ultra SDHC 16GB Class 10 memory card. No problems with it.
Why downgrade
- No images at night scene
- About too slow for fast Animals
- The attachment to different cross-sections is simply fiddly
Why won 4 points:
- And it works yet (sufficient for me picture / film quality)
- At halfway good price
- Battery life (12x AA) bill to be good (the current 1 month in operation)
- And there is just in the price range apparently nothing better (the latter please comment, if it does)
