For me 2 things are particularly important:
- Performance-sacrificing everyday use of laptops
- Detection rate of malicious software
That the performance of ongoing scans is underground bad, you must accept unfortunately at just about every AV software. Practically, here at Kaspersky option to shut down the PC after exiting the scan directly - this can be the computer sometimes run while Kaspersky giving good service.
Of the previously used by me virus scanners (Paid) MMN this affects the speed of scanning operations outside the least and behaves in the background very quiet.
Programs, which require a lot of hard disk accesses, or access to a variety of files, should be configured manually in Kaspersky best (real-time scanning) in order to work fast can without making the program entirely excluded from the protection.
The banking sites directly (and usually fully automatic) are specially protected (especially the keystrokes) I find convenient, but there are also here quite a few pests that then just make screenshots, rather than read along the keystrokes - even here the performance will not continue affected by the additional protection.
The settings within Kaspersky are versatile (who wants can configure to the smallest detail), but also lay the surface is made very evident.
Very convenient is natural that Kaspersky can be installed on any 3 devices with this license. The combination is optional (3 PCs or PCs 2 + 1 Smartphone / Tablet).
On a smartphone or tablet I have this product installed.
That Android devices is currently particularly affected by vulnerabilities and malicious software, each should indeed be known - here is indeed particularly targeted at the SMS-TAN procedure. That one on an Android device an AV solution installed because of me ok - but how Kaspersky eg work on Windows Phone I was initially really a mystery - because there all apps run in a separate sandbox and can only settle any malicious software.
In the small print then is unfortunately only that it is in iOS and Windows Phone is only a browser app that aims to secure surfing - that's it. But to waste a license I personally total nonsense.
My guess is that the browser app and nothing else makes off as cookies, delete temporary internet files when closing and possibly always encrypted traffic via Kaspersky server - which, if actually should be, as a function even completely would speak to the app - after all, I do not want my Website accesses always diverted via Russia.
All in all, a mature product with very good detection rate of pests and Outlook support.
For the price strong buy recommendation!
PS: It is cheaper every year a new 3 license to buy, but to take the license renewal to complete.
