Now the reason why I use the hardware may depart all 3 points despite the fundamental satisfaction:
I bought the torch, among other things, so that I can watch Blu-Rays on the laptop (which has a FullHD display). But for the burner is in such an abysmal software that I am annoyed each time I have to use it. I've been waiting eagerly that VLC or another free player finally Blu-Ray support, without having to operate with any DLLs and other tricks.
Back to bundled software PowerDVD. Even when installing a 3 or 4 additional programs are having forced upon which I absolutely did not want to have. This bad habit of always having to install the same program whole families, is now unfortunately so common that one could ever come up lunch. At least you can scrap - read like here in another review - back uninstall (where everyone in a Windows at all - I bet somewhere in the depths of the registry still hang out a few kilobytes, which you will never get rid of) ,
Then the player himself: He obviously comes with Win7 64 bit is not really clear - at least puts my ThinkPad when the player starts the color scheme to "basic" back. Does it have to be that way? And this software does not start as quickly, it takes a long long seconds (minutes - I have to stop time ...) until the program is so far that I can choose to play Blu-Ray. Select very awkward, I would like to say. And every 3rd or 4th time, the gravel imposed complete, well at least it breaks the windows but can not zap via Task Manager still. Honestly - even "free enclosed" programs could but at least halfway work, right?
That skipping of any anti-piracy overlays is not possible, because that's just the icing on the "i". Since the software can perhaps not help it, but I ask myself (as a paying customer who buys its Blu-Rays), why I have to watch these exhortations every time in full length, if I bought the film neatly while in pirated discs Just the same, the film starts. World turned upside down, but this I do not write more, which does not belong here.
Anyway, I use the drive much less than I had planned, I would rather take me but then again with DVDs (which the Thinkpad can with the internal drive and VLC player), as I am each time this Sch ...- Software annoyed. Clear NOT recommendation, if you want to run not only data backup etc., but the burner will use also look for Blu-Ray.
