Bottle: Very nice bottle in which you can see the amber whiskey well. In addition, no screw cap, but under the seal (similar to the Maker's Mark) hiding a cork.

Taste: Due to the nine years maturing in fresh American oak barrels results in a significant oak note. Still sweet, caramel flavor. Otherwise, hints of nuts and grains. Due to the 50% and a significant alcohol note. Pur unfolds a long, glowing finish. Mixed with Cola results from a bottle price of about 30 euros already a whiskey-Cola deluxe, but though tastes great ;-)

Conclusion: Really tasty and good bourbon whiskey at a good price / performance ratio. Come into my "Bourbon Top 3 list of 35 Euro" besides the Maker's Mark and the Elijah Craig.
