Zombie Army Trilogy

Having already looked at all existing episodes of The Walking Dead this year and played titles like Dying Light, which is when ZombieArmy Trilogy would land made by Rebellion in our PlayStation 4 only a matter of time. This is a third-person shooter, set in a altnativen version of World War II.

The player is 1945 in Berlin, where the war has apparently come to an end. The Allies are in the superior power, Hitler can really only give up yet. But the Austrians still has a trick up its sleeve: He raises an army with undead super soldiers to life and orders them to destroy the whole of Europe. To prevent this from happening and Hitler is finally made to raze the player the task of the Zombies is now unstoppable.

This works in single player mode as well as with up to three friends in the team. In total are 15 missions to exist, which are divided into three campaigns. The first two missions already existed as DLC for Sniper Elite (PC) and could therefore be familiar to some players. For the third mission is quite fresh, so that even the most experienced players get offered here something new.

The player can choose between eight different heroes, with four female characters are present. Thus one ever has a chance to defend themselves against the zombies, the makers have distributed explosive barrels and the like anywhere. So if one is good, one leads the zombies in the closer such barrels, moves away and then shoot the barrels. As a rule, the Undead then go up in flames and it is a good deal further. However, if you're unlucky, you lose only one or the other part of the body and make the players continue to make life difficult. Most of the zombies may be easy to do, but there are also undead that come with their own weapons. Watching should when skeletons come into view. This move quite quickly, so you should always keep an eye on the clattering figures.

Let's take another look at the technical side of the game. The controls are easy, even beginners of the genre should not have any problem and quickly get into the game. In the graphic you get though no innovation, but offered a good picture. The environment is destroyed roads and bombed houses, everywhere is old war stuff around. In addition a lot of blood. A lot of blood! When a shot is correctly well, the X-killing camera is used. It is shown in close-up, as the ball strikes the body and how the intestines are torn. There are also matching background noise and the moaning of the undead, so a very nice sound is given.

In whole saw the player gets offered with ZombieArmy trilogy made by a rebellion succeeded shooter with a lot of blood. The background story is ok, but not important, the technical side is at a good level. Even if you always have to do the same thing as seen, the game has its appeal. We had our fun and can recommend fans of the genre the game.
