Zotac GTX970 AMP! Extreme Core Edition

Perhaps we should clarify in advance by a little thing that has puzzled me before buying anything.
There are 2 versions of this graphics card, a normal "GTX970 AMP! Extreme Edition" and here offered "GTX970 AMP! Extreme Core Edition".
The normal version is my knowledge no longer manufactured or is just too utopian high prices available, the "Core Edition" is the new and improved version of the amp! Extreme series. The "Core Edition" has no LED gimmick more in the fans (generally the air was again changed a bit - the map is now also a bit shorter than the pioneer) and it is again a little bit higher clocked (1228MHz standard, 1380MHz Boost ) than the normal Amp Extreme version, (1203MHz standard, 1355MHz Boost).

I have thought long and researched for which GTX970 should I decide now and have finally me for Amp! Extreme Edition CORE decided.

For performance:

Granted, it is probably the most expensive version of the GTX970 series (at Mindfactory 381), but without a doubt the fastest.
The performance is amazing, I play every conceivable current game in 1920x1080 or 2560x1080 in (have a widescreen (21: 9), continuous in the maximum settings with 2-4xAA with ~ 60 FPS.
The fans remain silent constant pleasant, clearly you can hear it when we look on it, but it is very quiet in idle and even with 100% Lüfterdrehzal still bearable quiet times Apart from the fact that the card has not been asked so high up now because warmer than 50 ° C it has not yet become so far without overclocking, as some case fans are loud;)
Another thing that made me a bit anxious in general compared to the 970 series was the dreaded Spulenfiepen. As far as I was able to inform me the amp! Extreme Edition Core affected the least of them and I can agree with, no Spulenfiepen can determine.

For overclocking:

My final sentence, and possibly also the decisive point to opt for one or the other for this card:

I just got a little bit made to the overclocking without playing around with the tension and risking the card to break anything, only the Base Clock and Mem Clock bit screwed up (temperature rose no higher than 58 ° C).
Then run a few times benchmarks and I came to the following conclusion:

With customized overclocking a good piece on average ridiculous 1.5 - 2 FPS slower than a standard GTX980 ...
