<------- Spoilers !! ------>
But I was also first sketpisch. Or angry. Annoyed it hits probably best. The reason was the Companion app, you need to obtain eg Altair Master Assassin outfit. For me as a 100% natural hunters attenuation. I suppose the game I would have by in 30/40 hours for the app you need much longer. Therefore I also gambled little and at first concerned me with the app. This naturally leaves a bitter aftertaste, but I currently also have other games (Far Cry 4, GTA V & Dragon Age Inquisiton) have and want to play, can / must AC: Unity wait.
What I've seen so far, but I really like. Here again the positive points:
- The city looks great, the building is impressive and Arno is relatively jagged go. Yes, the framerate sometimes breaks a little. And yes, I stay permanently attached to any rough edges. However, it usually works and if so, it also looks really gorgeous.
- Have really liked me the crowds. In the first trailer for the first part of Altair after an assassination attempt on the run from the guards who surround him at the end of a large door. When you just want to access, the door opens and dozens of white-robed monks coming out. Altair uses the moment and disappears into the crowd. That was very epic and just looked really cool. And I wanted to just put them into the games. Unfortunately, this was always right there represented expedient there were small groups of 4 monks, under which one could mix that always walked the same paths and were able to safely past locks of guards. It worked, but always felt something forced. In this game, there are finally enough people on the streets to really submerge. You can move hundreds of meters unobtrusively without have to work great. Why was the "push away" away by holding down the X button, but I can not understand. A small Kritipunkt.
- The various pieces of equipment I find also very good, me as a collective fan goes there on the heart, besides, I've always wanted my Assassin visually make. This is now possible. The designs are a matter of taste, there is (probably) all represented quite contemporary, with bow tie and ruffles that does not speak to me that way, but fits at the time and therefore perfectly acceptable.
- The fighting finally makes fun again. By Black Flag I'm like a madman durchgemetzelt, the largest frigates could clean up alone and had even with> 20 people around me rarely problems assassinate all. In Unity I flee now more often if the opponent mass is too high, or try directly to be not so often caught. This is the feeling of an Assassin to very good.
- It has been again a headquarters that can be expanded. Not quite as extensive as yet at AC 3, but enough to properly flush money into the cash register.
- There are now serious (axes, hammers) and long (rods, lances) weapons, which allows to change his fighting style slightly. Heavy weapons are not available to me, I need speed, lances I need to retest.
- The Map. I had here just once mention, I knew so detialliert far from any other game. You can get close and extremely far back away, turn, turn, rotate as you like and always has a great view of the respective building and adjacent streets.
- Koop is a cool concept, but only works with Hedaset and best friends really good. Otherwise it can be quickly messy to be discovered a silent procedure without is hardly possible.
All in all, much has remained the same. I'm the guy gamers who says "Never change a running system", which is borderline bad at this game already, thanks Companion App and Initiates. Initiates do not bother me so much, because I have gambled almost all games and partially made up to 100%, thus had from the outset directly Rank 7 or 8. The Companion app but would really need not be. Even micro-payments hit on the stomach, which may not actually be in a full-price game.
Nevertheless, I would therefore not depreciate a good reason, from her game. I shutter to hassle with Companion and ignore the micro-payments, the bottom line a good Assassin's Creed in out, which unfortunately has not (yet) to deal with technical problems.
No major changes, but also no coarse blunder. In any case I have fun with it and let me play this game by other pessimists not make maggoty;) Maybe I'm too positive, or forgive too much, but Ubisoft makes my opinion the impression that they are working hard on the problem solution. As long as I have the impression and noticeably improved somewhat in the game, keep the 5 star. If the promises are not met, I would have to think about a devaluation.
