It is with a pleasure that jachète every time the last album of Blake & Mortimer, from the day of its release. I need at least the evening and into the next day to read it twice, first for history and a second for drawing and even history. This done, I can men make a serious opinion. This is often a positive opinion, and sometimes medium rare times - luckily - a negative opinion. This time, I say bluntly, I really enjoyed myself. The satisfaction of finding my two heroes on an adventure for a prologue to the Secret Lespadon, coupled with that dassister finally meet their best enemy, Olrik. Today at the helm of this eleventh album New Adventures of B & H, we find the most prolific tandem Yves Sente and André Juillard scenario drawing. Their collaboration has given very good Machination Voronov and the excellent Oath of the five Lords, it nen expected no less of this staff Plutarch, while their scores in the sarcophagi of the 6th Continent or Gondwana Sanctuary were rather lackluster. Laventure began during World War II (1944) then quune serious threat to the British government, in full preparation of the future landing, and all services and spy-espionage against rival dingéniosité to poison the Nazis secret services. This is after an air shot splinter Francis Blake will rejoin the MI6 (that he had left the heart of the 30s - see the 5 Lords), and so end up in a secret base a scientist that he had met in his youth in Simla in India ( cf. The Coffin), and which is none other than his friend Philip Mortimer. Once the pair will have to work together and navigate the murky waters of espionage and get to know two curious characters: an Asian to the ambiguous personality and an arrogant colonel, wearing monocle and cigarette, wash your course recognized ! If the first mission is to help B & H at the end of the second world war as quickly, it appears that they are going to work seriously to prepare quickly for a third conflict is looming as more terrible than the previous ones. With the pace of Yves Sente scenario is very strong, documentation of course extremely serious, and as always with Juillard, impeccable design, supported in this respect by a coloring and inking an excellent decor. A multitude of details allows dancrer with finesse in this album oeuvre by Jacobs and it is a tribute that the authors make the master, who naurait probably not denied such an adventure. I also think that all fans of the series will be thrilled to discover this new album and like me they will want denchaîner with a new reading of the Secret of Lespadon. Happy reading!
