"Remember Me" is one of the titles that I had this year, not necessarily on the screen. Times here and there what about it, and somewhere in the division "Can you gamble indeed times when you're just nothing else at hand has" classified. So, and now I happened otherwise with which I could feed my console, and have of course a look at the good Ni'lin, so the name of the main protagonist, and her adventure thrown. From the quick look then were finally a few hours, which have entertained me sometimes more and sometimes less well. And like the rest in my opinion looks in detail that you learn as always in the following Pro / Contra line.

+ As always, first a look at the positives. View it hits this quite well, because what one stands inevitably after the introduction into the eye, is the absolutely charming appearance of the title. Visually makes "Remember Me" namely her lot. The graph offers the most beautiful textures, a lot of smaller details and particularly commendable, impeccable illumination of the backdrop. With light being played here and that is a lot of work, which is absolutely first class and the atmosphere highlights and raises enormous. In addition, the makers worked repeatedly with blur effects, make the objects in the distance ... ähhh blurred ... TOP! The character models are also not bad. Especially Ni'lin stands out thereby positively, because even when you make small details, such as the moving belts to her suit at the beginning of the game, looking like some. Facial animations are against ehr wood and may not reflect actual blast.

+ The Neo-Paris at the end of the 21st century seems consistent, individually designed and offers a lot of variety in the scenery diversity. The mix of dilapidated old buildings, modern architecture and the art of the modern era fits together well and the makers conjure up a consistently handsome, charming, but also at times quite depraved world on the screen, which comes up with many gimmicks and makes the eye happy. Here and there also gladly times a few people walking the streets or sitting in a coffee Paris` together and prate about God and the world, what Paris can act very much alive.

+ Ni'lin can in the many battles they treading, to perform various combos. So far so good and unspectacular. The trick of the matter: The combos can add value with so-called Impressions (eg power or regeneration), which learned Ni'lin during the story by accumulated experience points again. Means something like: An impression, for example, a power stroke, a different impression triggers a kick that regenerates health. + The soundtrack makes her a lot. The sounds support / emphasize great the setting and constantly vary their pace or intensity.

: During gameplay I am divided on. Let me mention: It is a mix of "Batman" and "Enslaved". The positive here is that the struggles are similar here and there as just mentioned, a bit of "Arkham" series of Rocksteady. So dodge at the right moment and then finally perform combos to the enemy to bring down. All this feels not only dynamically, it is also quite easy to deal with and quickly internalized (but also relatively dull over time because it feels always the same). In addition, Ni'lin has in addition to combos also certain special attacks that are available after some time. Negative again: Counter can Ni'lin example not, with the result that you constantly just frantically bouncing around and jump. In addition to the exchange of blows is also a lot and climbed undemanding in best Enslaved-style especially. Which means you can shimmy along edges only high-and along which are intended by the creators to and marked with an arrow, so to speak as if on rails. If you stand for example before a one-meter-high wall, which is not marked with an arrow, the good woman makes no move this climb.

: Memories remixes: A nice feature in "RM" is the change of memories. Here an example (WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILER): A woman wants to kill you or imprison, in revenge for her injured husband, friend or whatever. When assassinate our character one now gets the chance to manipulate the memory of this woman, by penetrating with Nilin`s super duper mega stark glove in the memory of the attacker and henceforth sees the ultimate reminder of the motives of his action on the screen. In this case, you see a man in the hospital bed, how it is treated by a doctor. Now it is time to recall these memories and to rewind and look for ways to change this idea. In this case, to provide for the responsibility of the attending physician for the man's death, so that no longer in Ni'lin is sour the good lady. That is all as I said a nice gimmick which also offers quite a lot of variety, but manipulating always runs after the trial-and-error principle. Means: You have to play and change until the desired by the developers situation comes about the memories always so long. So you can not fail and so direct or the like about the action in a different direction. Here, then, would certainly have been possible, because it is merely a nice feature not more!

: Of course there are "RM" and what to collect for us players. And here the makers had in my eyes also very nice idea. Throughout the game world hologram images are distributed repeatedly showing certain areas. In this complex there eventually hides always a collector's item. So here it is: Image memorize and recognize them in Natura. Then search the area and find the said object. Have you finally captured a certain number, your health increases. That's all as I said indeed very cool, but is also this idea is not entirely round. On the one hand the objects are never really hidden well or at all, and what is more important: because the walk-sections always are very small, it makes this idea almost obsolete respectively superfluous, since it is difficult to miss a field.

: Ni'lin works as the main protagonist only partially, in my view. The tough fighter Amazone I buy from her and although visually it definitely makes her a lot, but I always lacked the respect for their character and their fate has been to me over the entire term of wide continuous care less. I also have never kept their or the like with it - here would have been up a lot of potential. This also applies to pretty much every other character in this game, which we encounter in the course of the action. Most NPCs are not sufficient on extras-level addition.

The enemy design is okay. Here and there one meets while every now and then to twins, but some of the characters are pretty cool, designed and also convince some bosses.

: The story is entertaining, has now, however, neither blew me away. In any case, the narrative is sufficient but to lead by around 9-10 hours. An epic masterpiece, however, you should not expect.

: Speaking of 9-10 hours. This has "Remember Me" in my play-through (with a little gathering) in about spread in time - average.

- The synchronization applies indeed according to some reports as underground bad. I would sign on the whole so. Because here really tears, none of the speakers even begin a leg out, and some people really is just bad .... really really bad. One or two small bright spots do exist, for example if Ni'lin speaks in the pauses, but the rest of unprofessionalism all involved outweighs so I schwertue me datt things too hiefen here in the neutral range.

- As nice as the Neo-Paris has become so sterile it acts ultimately. Because you can interact in "Remember Me" with nothing and no one. So you just traipsing through a nicely designed game world, without to be a part of it. So styled and alive as the whole so often acts as artificial it feels, unfortunately, only because the scenery is really just a backdrop. And apropos Level: The sections that you roam during the campaign, are usually designed incredibly narrow, leaving little or no room to move about (topic "rails"). Here I would have at least wanted a little more freedom when the actor has mastered climbing.

- The Lyppensynchronität is often a nightmare. The voices are the lips so often asynchronously always some moments ahead and that it is embarrassing and quite apart from the looks totally stupid. Every now and then the sound of a speaker overlap even for example a groan through a case and at the same time already is a word from the same mouth! Very weak!

- Every now and then annoy the fighting really nice because Ni'lin tolerate not really many hits, which is difficult to avoid, especially when multiple enemies. This can then possibly ever tidy-crust, if you constantly kissing the ground.

- Which in turn has annoying loading screens result that brighten the image after each death.

- The fights are about 99% always predictable. Most are larger areas that still point to a battle, the whole thing, of course, takes the element of surprise.

CONCLUSION:
"Remember Me" is actually exactly what I expected. Described it was indeed in advance often as great success. However, the final product is in my humble opinion "only" a good average title quite fun and you, if you just do nothing, quietly can anzocken once, however, should not expect great wonders. It has its moments and, of course, quite strong, which, in other words the appearance, the game world and the soundtrack are attributable mainly to the presentation. Taking these factors, however, once in hand, "Remember Me" only - to want to sound without hard - a monotone 0815-fighting game with some nice ideas, undemanding climbing positions, extremely schlauchigen levels, a lousy dubbing and lip sync and a nice story. So all in all midfield, 3 stars.
