A monk who wants to build the largest cathedral in the world, a young nobleman raped by a neighboring lord, a tailor worker trying to support his family, here are the main characters of this saga that we can not let go. The novel reads easily, the plot is compelling, you travel a lot, we fight a lot, too, and like any adventure in the Anglo-Saxon, the Gentiles win in the end, which is why I have put that three stars because it bothers me; that and a few pair of conversations between the tailor and his wife ("Honey, do not you occupy yourself enough of me"), which fall more American TV series as the twelfth century (but I might advance me I was not born at the time); the characters are too modern, they are like us too.
