The last historical epic Ken Follett finally pocket!

Those who bought "the pillars of the earth" or "world without end" will flock to this new historical epic by Ken Follett. The cannevas is the same, namely the destinies of several families from different backgrounds actors and victims of their times. This time, we are in the early twentieth century, and we are witnessing the rise of tension between European and then World War.

This new mural is masterful. It leads us from the bottom of a coal mine in Wales, through an English manor house, the slums of Moscow, Berlin's lounges or the Oval Office. We can only focus on the beautiful Lady Maud (of course, it looks like Aliena or Caris!), To Peshkov brothers (who remind us Merthin and Ralph Fitzgerald ...) or Billy and Ethel Williams.

Certainly, the strings of historical cobblestones Ken Follett beginning to be well known. This time, however, the romantic power is such that I have taken to hope that the war would not take place!
