So to start, what a delight to discover a book like this and not wanting to let go before the last line! Everything is there! A writing that door, we embark on this journey with great ease. It is fluid, well written, punctuated with humor that made me laugh very often.
The story is so dramatic, you feel intense pain of heroin and one suffers with it. But all this is linked to all craziest adventures as each other. It's fresh while being deep and dark. We have also wanted to meet the handsome Hugo, traveling in the jungle and discover this country and this lovely people mostly.
The romance is perfect, it's beautiful and innocent, yet raunchy wish.
The death is approached crudely, but also full of hope. A wonderful end worthy of the novel that I recommend to all! A real success!
