Finally back her own songs, which bring the familiar Hannes W. to the fore! One has the impression of authenticity: here is an honest, here one writes of himself. As we know from Hannes Wader, is essentially about memories and their processing, yet the lyrics are fresh, surprising and consistently under the skin. The music is on the same level. It's just fun to hear this CD. It includes outgoing power pieces to long, soulful implemented melodic pieces (gates) that are not boring, despite the length. All songs are arranged transparent, pearly guitar, some percussion and crisp Irish fiddles set a groovy and fun and exciting accent to the moving song content. Actually, I'm not really on female choirs, but here they are skilfully used and pointedly. The title song Sing is at the beginning a little getting used to, but at the 2nd hearing to recognize the self-mockery of Hannes Wader. Entertaining, exciting, moving CD!
