The reason I have not decided on a Hero 2 GoPro was the price, the included accessories and thus existing price / performance ratio.
Equipped with a 32GB memory card of Transcent it basically works quite well. Depressing it is only when one is used a second card. Then the cam denied after a few seconds the service and turns off. I tested it in a variety of combinations of cards and card slots and the fault pattern is always the same: Two cards in the unit and "purely ne va plus", nothing works! Only one of the tested cards in the unit: tada ... everything goes!
The display requires a good sea state and a not too bright surroundings. In midsummer partial functionality. Likewise, limited use: The status LED on the front panel which is poorly visible when operating in the housing. As already noted by others, the plastic covers of connections and card slots are also suboptimal since they have been opened only very difficult to close again.
My conclusion is positive despite all. Good mix of price / performance. I would buy again.
