The adapter is used with me to connect a Sennheiser PC 131 headset into a Lenovo Thinkpad T520. The adapter has two sockets, in which the two 3.5 mm connector of the headset can be plugged in and is then connected with a 4-pole 3.5 mm plug to the combined microphone and earphone jack of your notebook.
