My impression about the device:
The look and feel is good. The unit fits comfortably in your hand and looks good. The charging station serves its purpose and also has space for 2 spare heads. (Should be changed every 6 months)
Filling the unit is simple and quite possible. Simply open the flap on the rear part and fill with mouthwash or water. I use to Meridol mouthwash. Caution: The mouthwash may not contain isopropyl, because it can damage the plastic. (In the instructions)
The cleaning of the handpiece is also straightforward. However, to get a little heavier on the interior chamber of the liquid container off. Once flush and but lay dry with Kleenex enough.
I had an oral irrigator Waterpik. But I never really used it since me the effort was too great in the morning and evening. With the Sonicare Airfloss cleaning is much faster and more practical possible.
After or before brushing I need no 3min to the device put into operation and the spaces "free blowing"
The cleaning effect of the device is good. It flushes out the spaces of relatively well and can one or the other to remove food particles. However, use of dental floss is not always excluded. Not everything is carried out by the device. But with me helping the Sonicare AirFloss to clean the interstices of food residues to which I do not rankomme flossing.
However, for the first time with the AirFloss is unfamiliar. The noise at the "firing" are used to and is reminiscent of a small nail gun. Overcoming pull the trigger was already there, but it does in no legally hurt or feels unangehm. But the fluid must be transported with pressure through the gap somehow. It sounds much worse than it is. The first time I had slight bleeding gums, but already at the third treatment I had no more bleeding gums.
The travel bag is not as good as the picture has affected me. It is so thin that you curled up in the package was and is made of a thin fabric with zipper. There are no subjects and no real transport protection for the device. Therefore, a star deduction. For the price I would have expected at least a little higher quality bag.
