Well, in a nutshell: On a (! Very thorough) wet shave he can not hold a whole, but the result is very close. It really lacks only a teeny hint (you feel with the back still a tiny residual roughness against the grain, but really only minimally). For me it works best with foam in between "something" flooded with water, it slides easily and provides excellent in this combination the best results. The foam I let soak for about 3 minutes while I cook as coffee or something, so no time is lost.
However, "caress" I do not my face with it. Pressures a bit on, but not full speed. Approximately when I would want to massage my face with the razor. If you just enjoy it flies only very loosely, the result is not quite as good (at least for me). Aftershave burns in me with this razor, but much less, and more compatible than with the planer.
However, for this price range, compared to the old Philishave he tops by a mile and the wet shaving very close result for me already justify 4 stars. Another there, because the shaving heads are easy to swap, you "Quick / emergency charge" (sufficient for a shave) can him 3 minutes when the battery time should suddenly be empty and that he counts the shaving time and indicates when the heads should be replaced. For this he feels "good" in his hand. That's fun.
After shaving the device simply washed and well. If necessary, you can still let him dry with head open, but is not absolutely necessary.
Hope this helps one or the other. Would buy it again.
Edit: operating noise - I can only compare with the old Philishave and what you as to razors with friends sees times. By contrast, it is pleasantly quiet.
