The Intenso is no lightweight, weighs about 472 grams. It has a rubber backing and is therefore a very good grip, finger prints can be seen on the rubber hard. The Tab is processed stable and quite dibasic. The retrofittable micro SD disappear from the outside behind a rubber cover. All other interfaces (USB, HDMI, headphones, etc.) are openly accessible. The typical volume and power buttons and simple 0.3MP cam complete the tablet. By the way, the Tab can be charged with the supplied charger or alternatively via USB.
Basically this Intenso has really steam under the hood. The usual applications (Browser, Email, Office Suite) are quite fluid used and the most simple games run very fast. Preinstalled is here but very little. So you have to close in on the AppStore, the "AndroidPIT App Center" called the Intenso 814. The Google Play goals but for this App Center now called (among pre-installed Apps). Operating system is Android 4.1.1 and therefore the currently most recent what's so.
The TFT is again very dependent on the viewing angle, but does pretty well on. The camera possibly enough for Skype in bright environments. The WLAN module is amazingly fast in this table, I hardly delays while browsing or when downloading. That was the "i-onic" sometimes very slowly. The tethering of Intenso with my HTC phone is functional.
Benchmark of Intenso 814:
CPU Linpack: 50.02 / 88.03 MFLOPS (Singel / Multi), which is 4-6 times faster than the "i-onic"!
GPU Nenamark 1: 60 fps - which is good and approximately 20% faster than the "i-onic"!
In Wlanbetrieb and in continuous use (intensive test) I had a few hours battery capacity available, I use the Tab only occasionally, the battery will last for several days.
Small inconsistencies but it seems to give back even when Intenso. Each manufacturer is cooking because apparently his soup. The configuration of the Android 4.x when a manufacturer is not the same as the configuration of the Android 4.x the tab of another manufacturer (logically as other hardware). For me when Intenso not all installed apps alike. Why the Mobo player on the weaker 7 inch Tablet super runs and often rumnörgelt on the fleets Intenso and jerky, not yet open up to me. Here I have to rely on the pre-installed player. With me very often depends even when Intenso the system when I drive me around in the system settings, it then comes in somewhat the following message box - App does not respond "to wait or exit". When "i-onic" which in turn was the browser is often the case. These hangers nerves easy Although the system recovers after some time but it also leads here to the devaluation. The touch screen will scroll further in "finger swipe" in many applications, not as with other tab's accustomed to on their own. That's not bad but quite unusual.
Conclusion:
Actually a modern Android smartphone is more versatile, if not for the small screen size and the often much higher price would ... For the price of Intenso (for review time for about 120, -), it is a fairly solid tablet and it indicates the equipment is not much to complain about. It's a nice complement / combination to a smartphone. I no longer grasp this very handy Tab due to its low price, now with kid gloves and go in everyday life quite loosely around it, as I might trust me with the high quality equipment with protective sheath. It meets my requirements above the occasional mobile Internet use (via Wi-Fi or via tethering) and a Skype chat session, a movies, e-mail or a simple little game usually are no problem. For no more and no less so a favorable Tab is intended. Certain restrictions with some apps, the blickwinkelabhängigem display can accept with the price yet. However, the system-trailer nerve-sparing. Something I miss now but a GPS sensor ... I forgive 3 stars (not bad)!
