very good product with small weaknesses

The card reader I bought for use with HBCI and the new identity card.
It is currently the only recommended by BSI device which supports all functions of the new ID card incl. The qualified signature.

The unit is supplied with a base made of metal, making a total solid impression. The base is provided with two rubber pads that give a good slip resistance on flat surfaces the device. On the back is located in a recess of the connection for the mini-USB connector. Two USB cable with 30cm or 120cm are also included.

The card reader supports both contactless (eg NPA) and contact cards. There are two bays. The rear is actually intended for contactless RFID card as the NPA.
