The disadvantages outweigh ..... unless there is an alternative

In other words: it makes the TV basically Internet-enabled. And for the price you can not expect good. The disadvantage:
1.ohne external keyboard to operate within the Internet so impractical that you lose interest after a few clicks.
2. The browser will depend slightly on or the embedded processor is so slow that real surfing is virtually impossible. Again you climb quickly to a PC or a tablet.
3. The responses to the remote sometimes do not work. Then helps only a complete power cycle. Even then, it's not always immediately.
4. "forgets" the system again and again that it is connected to a WLAN. This phenomenon is, however, emerged only after a few months.

And yes, I have constantly updated the firmware software.

Conclusion: as a transitional solution okay, but if you do not want to get angry and a little money has left, should you feel the same buy a new TV with all this features. I will probably do the near future.
