It fit in both 2.5 and 3.5 inch hard drives. The small 2.5-inch model are of course only useful for steady-state operation, unless they secure a foam rubber dice against any unintentional slipping during transport.
One needs to operate ALWAYS a power cord - unlike the other small 2.5 HDD enclosures; So not quite as convenient.
The housing has an on / off switch.
The opening is not easy, because you have this, move the upper half casing and slide off the finger on the smooth casing. The lock is sideways, so do not touch the side when opening if possible. (This criticism also applies to the small housing 2599US3 when a disc is inserted).
Works flawlessly.
So if you are looking for a case for both disk sizes and the 2.5-inch model guarantees, is hereby well advised.
