From highly exciting game to creep excessively exciting shooting game

What happened to the once so exciting "Splinter Cell" series? After "Double Agent", which makes me no longer so enthusiastic as the first 3 parts on PC, but I still thought it was good, I can not begin with "Conviction" very much.

Where is the once-tight tension remained, the manifold possibilities in meeting the mission objectives, the nearly invisible act, the grim humor in the "questioning" of opponents?

Bloodless approach is hardly possible, instead of searching with the help of cutting-edge technology aids such as in the earlier parts of alternate routes is now more linear processing of each section under hectic Mark and Shooting with a too wide choice of aufzumotzenden firearms demand.

Why can not stun opponents more, but only kill? Why can not they at least still hiding? The incentive, silently, invisibly and without bloodshed proceed, is hardly available and the implementation has become almost impossible.

Technically I think "Conviction" excellent, but what I have from the great graphics, when the screen is half the time black and white? It's frustrating. Another major point of criticism is the playing time, which is even with careful approach barely 10 hours. That's just too little. Just bad and I found superfluous the Iraq section. What did the lost in "Splinter Cell"?

On balance I think "Conviction" inadequate level managed and entertaining, but with the emphasis on "shooting game" it makes me just a lot less fun than the earlier parts, and there are much better alternatives in this genre. In the "slow game" is 360 urgent need to catch up for my taste on the XBox. Next year, "Thief 4" appears, one may hope so.
