Fujifilm FinePix SL1000 Digital Camera (16.2 megapixels, 50x opt. Zoom, Full HD, 7.6 cm (3 inch) LCD CMOS sensor, HDMI, image stabilization, USB 2.0) (Electronics)
With this review, I would like once (to 1 star and Taugt nothing of 5 star and really great) relativize the other reviews here and try to make a factual assessment. After a while of reflection, I bought this camera to me a few weeks ago. The reason was the fact that I did not want to lug around on vacation with my DSLR equipment. For holiday snaps my claim is not quite as high. Still, I was curious as to how such a bridge camera compares to my Canon 60D. After the first pictures I was then but a little sobered by no means disappointed. As expected, the quality of the images is quite good and the setting shutter, aperture or fully automatic are reasonably anticipated to be meaningful and useful with respect and were for me one of the criteria for purchasing. Another criterion was, next to the large focal length range, the option of taking images in RAW format. Other features such as scene modes are certainly very nice, but for me were not decisive. Now back to the aforementioned image quality. For someone who is photographed with a DSLR (APS-C or full frame), the image quality is obviously a lot less. All thing this has indeed his reasons. In here, the sensor is primarily responsible, and this is with its dimensions considerably smaller than that of a DSLR. In the SL 1000, the sensor diagonal is just now again 11mm, with an APS-C camera, however, there are just under 27mm. This results in a more than 5 times greater surface area for approximately the same number of pixels. In other words, the sensor of the Fujifilm has on a cm² accommodate almost 27 mega pixels, the EOS 60 only 5 megapixels. I think alone this it is clear where come the differences in image quality. The Rezensoren, talking about a super image quality should be said that they probably have not worked with a DSLR and those of SL 1000 can only guess, to reflect on the above-described certify a lousy quality. For me, the camera is absolutely OK and since most bridge cameras are equipped with such a sensor, should here the differences in image quality only marginally. I, for meien one, am happy with the camera in the circumstances and can recommend it thoroughly. Vielleich yes I hereby helped in deciding the inputs or otherwise. From me there 4 points for SL 1000th
