Plus points:
- Swiveling large display, very helpful in photos from unusual positions
- Switchable live histogram and sliding focusing range
- Fully manual adjustment of aperture and shutter speed possible (I use myself very often)
- Practical scroll wheel for quick navigation in the shooting menu and scroll to the memory card
- Wide from 28 mm (KB)
- Is very comfortable to hold, even if it is slightly heavier than my predecessor "PowerShot S2 IS"
- With good batteries (2500mAh Photo battery of Conrad) very long term (no expensive LiIon batteries required)
- HD video (720p) and zoomable very good quality
But there are also a few minor points, which is why there were no 5 star:
- Focusing difficulty in diffuse light conditions (late twilight, ...)
- There is still no effective at Canon warning of a low battery (sometimes the camera just goes out suddenly when the battery is empty, with no forewarning)
- Slow continuous shooting of about 2 frames / sec (is not really better even at low resolution)
Conclusion: I highly recommend the camera. Who wants to spend money on an SLR, is the "PowerShot SX20 IS" for the money very well served.
