Looking for a cheap capsule system, I am Mio has shared in the AEG Favola Lavazza A Modo. I deliberately chose Lavazza and against Nespresso, as the quality of the coffee and the company's philosophy are important criteria for me. The Lavazza capsules are cheaper than Nespresso and Nestle (Nespresso) is a scandalous company, is unparalleled.
Positives:
- The coffee / espresso tastes very good and there is enough choice
- The built Milchschaumdüse is very convenient, easy to clean and can also be used to prepare tea.
- Cleaning of the remaining parts is also very easy
- The machine is kept relatively compact and the design is appealing despite plastic panel.
- The capsules may be obtained in many places
Negatives:
- The Milchschaumdüse indeed produces milk foam, however, is the milk foam Barista experience despite not perfectly producible.
- The capsules cost about 35cent per piece and are thus well 10cent expensive than the Tschibo capsules. Whether the better taste makes up for that you have to decide for themselves. I am undecided.
- There is no automatic filling system for espresso or coffee, which means you have to evaluate yourself when the coffee / espresso is ready.
Conclusion:
The machine is recommended by the price-performance ratio very forth. The favorable price machines, makes the more expensive capsule price bet and you get a really tasty product
