The shelf looks great and is very stable, so it can also be loaded with heavy books or if it is placed z. B. cross on the ground, as well as shelf / seat modules are used. I have it mounted standing and because individual (higher lying) fields are used by my cat as climbing furniture, additionally fixed with 2 angles on the wall - better safe than sorry - but probably that would not have been necessary, since the shelf in itself is sufficiently stable. The dimensions given are all correct and the coating material transparent to be robust and easy to clean.
Since you can connect indeed several shelves (z. B.) sides together, the shelf on many holes. To cover this, infatuation plugs are sufficiently supplied. Here you can choose between small plugs which exactly fit into the holes (Caution: the then you get barely out) or larger plugs of nearly 2 cm in diameter. However, the large protective shields are much too loose and fall quickly out again. I've resorted to a little glue, but this is not recommended if you may still want to extend the shelf later.
A little tip for vinyl lovers: The internal dimensions of the compartments is perfectly suited to the record collection (LP) to store it (per compartment can hold +/- 90 LP).
