Hard-POP music for the Mass ...

... And that's thrilled the crowd, show the many positive reviews. Anticipation was told that there, as always, is a matter of taste how great or bad you will find an album. I am writing this review not only as a consumer but also as a musician (drums + guitar), so I came to the following conclusion: as with some of the previous speakers, I can only conclude that Nickelback (apparently) did everything right. As mentioned: the mass is obviously thrilled. Bottom line, this album is certainly not a bad work, but I would have liked a little more of Nickelback courage to "honest" Hard Rock: the pieces sound easy to me all too smooth ... not to mention for "Radio-compatible" what is no coincidence certainly, but was calculated from the outset from producer so. Radio compatibility stands (known) also synonymous, also usually leads to "secure the commercial success", because everything is just often enough airplay to good sales figures. ... Hence my title listed in the name: "Hard-Pop" .... real hard rock sounds really different -> see example albums by Alter Bridge or Stone Sour. In addition, I give some previous speakers, in terms of 80s style right: especially the drum sound is (just for me as a drummer) really horrible! ... Something I previously knew only from (gruesome) bands like the PetShopBoys ;-) .... I find pity in any case, since I'm a big fan of (the genius for me >> see solos!) Daniel Adair which is sold by such a pop sound even under value. The sound is more like a drum machine as after his horny certainly DW drumset.

In short, there are also a few catchy tunes here, but the bottom line, this album is for me rather inconsequential, with songs that can be found as quickly good as they also forget again ..... it is only a good Hard-Pop album for radio ..... well, if you like it ... ;-)
