This antenna is the ideal complement of WiFi adapters with detachable antenna. Its extension allows placing the antenna in the place that maximizes wireless reception without moving the computer.

This antenna is especially interesting to complete a PCI port internal WiFi card as the TP-Link TL-WN781ND that I have personally tested. Indeed, the small antenna that comes with this kind of card is usually directly connected to the card and is therefore at the back of the PC, limiting its scope. Replace the antenna with extension greatly improves the quality of the wireless network.
