Bravo for this book that manages to explain - with a sense of humor - and an obvious curiosity, everything we learned in school and in college for chemistry, physics!
Everything is well explained and accessible: Bill Bryson was able to live a dusty subject, and Faraday, Newton, Einstein is explained not as historical curiosities but men living in their time.
Exciting! an ideal gift for all lovers of good reading and wants to refresh his scientific knowledge.
