The Logitech VX Nano is a well-made mouse that allows longer work with good ergonomics. From the size of this mouse is in the same size category as the Logitech V500, which until now was in terms of size, my clear favorite. Ultimately, in my view, the Logitech VX Nano's little brother the Logitech VX Revolution mouse. Technically, these mice same extreme. The Logitech VX Nano lacks only the stepped battery indicator, the zoom slider and on the back the setting if you want to use the mouse wheel latching or freely rolling. The Logitech VX Nano is what the size of the USB receiver As a small revolution. The USB receiver is so great, or better so small that you can hide under the 10 cent coin. On my laptop, a Samsung P35, the receiver looks maybe 7 mm out of the housing. The plug of the receiver can not be completely in the USB connector of the notebook stuck, so that approximately 2-3mm can still be seen from the plug. Normally, the USB receiver should 5mm protruding from the notebook USB port. For that reason, since the USB receiver a little longer protrudes from the notebook than other notebook I let the receiver during transport not in USB connector, because I want to cause damage to the USB connector on your notebook never. The ergonomic mouse is otherwise top notch. In "sofa holding" (notebook on her lap, and mouse is used on the sofa on the left or right, there are absolutely no problems with the mouse to work. The mouse performs this very precise movements, and I had no problems with the wireless connection. I was skeptical at first because the receiver is really tiny. The wheel is as ergonomically designed, as in the Logitech VX Revolution mouse. It is a wheel made of metal, really good to operate with a rubberized strip.. The two additional buttons on the side Links, and below the mouse wheel are with the SetPoint 4.0 software freely programmable and very easy to adapt the requirements of the user. As an accessory, there is a small carrying case for the mouse, and included a "table docking station" for the USB receiver. This "dock" is a USB extension if the mouse is used once on a desktop, and you do not want crawling always behind his PC. Both the bag and this "docking station" to make a good impression of the processing. The mouse itself is with two Micro (AA) batteries, suggesting a period of 4-6 months as the Logitech VX mouse. Whether the mouse meets these expectations I can not confirm, of course, since I have the mouse only a very short time. A small negative point I have, however, yet to this otherwise superb mouse. If you want to put the USB receiver in the mouse, you have to remove the battery cover and insert the USB receiver there in its intended place. This can already be cumbersome if you prefer to keep the USB receiver in the mouse and the USB port of the notebook. Since I find the solution for the other Logitech wireless mice (Logitech V400, V450, V500, VX) better where you can push the USB receiver in the mouse without any flaps open. When the USB receiver is inserted into the mouse, the mouse turns off automatically by the way. The mouse has but on the bottom and another on / off switch!
My Conclusion: I am convinced, despite the small point of criticism of the Logitech VX Nano. There is a little mouse who is very ergonomic, and is technically a hot topic today. The Logitech VX Nano is quite a bit smaller than the Logitech VX Revoluton making it clearly more transportable than the big brother. Therefore, I prefer to compare Logitech V500 and Logitech VX Nano. In almost every respect, the Logitech VX Nano is the winner. Only in size, the Logitech V500 even the nose has minimal front. It is slightly shorter, and in the collapsed state about 5-8mm lower than the Logitech VX Nano. However, the Logitech VX Nano is ultimately the technically newer and more versatile model.
