The image of this rather cheap 42 inch TV is really very good. But you have to choose the proper settings (Picture Mode "brilliant" is best for me!). The black level is great; Clouding is a foreign word for the Sony! At most, the focus could be a little better. The sound is poor, as with most flat-panel displays, but this does not of course interfere, if you use a sound bar or an audio system. The deduction is available for the loud "pops" of the housing due to heating during operation and, believe it or up to two hours later (!). While a film that disturbs every now and then occurring occasional crackling not too much. Who, however, provided the equipment for the bedroom, which should be urgently warned! Already half an hour during operation then led to 2 hours long occasional cracking! How that comes through the quality assurance, is a little surprising!
