And indeed, one morning, a woman's body is found in one of the circles.
The Commissioner and the Inspector Adamsberg Danglard lead the investigation and the police side of the novel takes over. The investigation of the solution is both very surprising even if part of the solution is awaited (by me anyway).
My opinion: I've found that the Commissioner Adamsberg was a very interesting character, thanks to its deductions and donations to its high sensitivity and especially in his own way to resolve its investigations. The Inspector Danglard is a character that I found very endearing. It is a little too attached to the bottle but of great intelligence and enjoying the Commissioner Adamsberg.
Mathilde Forestier is a person rather original and offbeat, sadressant familiar to the Commissioner. It is a scientific and sintéresse enormously with blue circles and she says she already met the person who trace them. This is a very sympathetic character. Much more than Charles Reyer, a blind man she meets.
This is a novel that reads very well because the décriture Fred Vargas style is very fluid. And history is so exciting quon hangs directly and reads quickly.
This is a great mystery novel and I recommend that you read it.
