after a long Notebookkaufodyssee (many sellers describe the display resolution to 1600x900, then deliver but with 1366x768 made (with 6 times! happens)) I finally this laptop with a resolution of 1600x900.
Conclusion First of all: it's simply great.
In Detail:
+ The matt LED display with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels is one to two quality levels to be placed further than the standard display with 1366 x 768. This concerns both the brightness and illumination and displayable colors (color space).
Compared to my previous notebooks from HP, Dell and Toshiba, the picture is just really great.
Only the viewing angle is weakening. Viewed from the side, the display significantly darker (however, was also at my other notebooks so).
+ The fan behaves pleasantly unobtrusive, provided before leaving the "fan always on at power mode" option in the BIOS.
+ The build quality is high HP level. Have not heard creaking.
+ The notebook comes with sufficient power. Fast i5-450M CPU, graphics card is an ATI Mobility Radeon 540v, which is also suitable for gaming.
+ The notebook comes with a memory of 2 GB. HP was so smart and has installed the 2GB as a bolt, thus a slot remains readily available free on the bottom for RAM expansion.
+ The notebook does not have an HDMI output, for a DisplayPort. A DisplayPort can output video signals with an even higher resolution than HDMI.
+ Tip:'ve already ordered a 3 meter cable DisplayPort to HDMI. It works flawlessly. Video and audio signals are output to a Sony TV clean.
+ The display hinges are very well made. The notebook can be opened easily and close.
+ The latching mechanism is easily and closes securely.
+ What about the battery life? Very good. Although it is installed only the standard battery with 55Wh, this holds but depending on the application load over 4 hours.
+ The built-in speaker are subjectively heard better than my previous notebooks. I am hereby pleased.
- Was bothers? There is a bar with function keys for volume control, Email, Internet and calculator on the keyboard. Functioned as a touch-sensitive buttons very good, but always shine. This can interfere in dark rooms.
- What is missing? I would like to have a keyboard light as in the Elite Books, but that was probably for the price not in it.
Conclusion as before: a powerful notebook, a top-notch display and a clean finish. I am fully satisfied.
