First impression: Current theme, settled in the future

Grischa Romen is sent on a mission to rush a luxury cruiser to help. Allegedly, a senior politician should get into trouble there. But the ship is almost empty, the crew is no trace to be seen. Grischa Romen place before the President, who was actually on board, seriously injured. But he returned to earth even suspected of having something to do with the attack probably also because of the hostility that entgegeschlägt the Roma currently ...

As Nikolai von Michalewsky wrote 1983 Planet Action Z, he could hardly have imagined that this Mark Brandis novel would be published 22 years later as a radio play and thus precisely captures the spirit of the time well. The theme of xenophobia is currently quite topical again and is also taken up in this episode. The initial scene described above derives the consequence an atmospheric, the later but fully focused on the conflict between the Roma and the rest of the population. The political developments in the world are used again as an intensive backdrop, the food shortages, the last few episodes, the mood here also dominates a central theme, and technological progress is skillfully combined with gene manipulations with introduced. The action here is more calm and focused on the persecution of the Roma, so comes the typical space Feeling the series only in some places. However, the very strong theme that insistently above developments and the thrilling finale yet caring for a very successful installment in the series, which has a different focus and a new aspect is introduced.

Grischa Romen is again a central role given, so Nathan David again has a slightly larger application. With its distinctive and edgy sounding voice he can deliver a very successful and credible performance here again. Antje von der Ahe can as Marie Hamilton score with their bright and clear voice and implement an emotional scene aptly. Juan Segovia is spoken by Rainer Schmitt, with his compelling way he can speak appropriately and managed these more ambiguous character. To hear Furthermore include Erich Räuker, Fabian Kluckert and Rainer Fritzsche.

By rather quiet and not built on action sequences act acoustics is only a few moments when it comes ascended correctly, but everything is very well balanced and offers high-quality cinema for the ears. The quieter scenes are put in perspective what the very present music and numerous very credible background noise are responsible.

Instead of the external view of a spaceship or the views of a planet is on the cover this time to see the inside of a space cruiser: a closed door, next to an open, which releases the veiled view of smoke and a dark figure. Inside the small booklets there is as always a little explanation about a topic used in the radio play.

Conclusion: It may be due to chance that the theme of the episode is currently implemented successfully, it is all. The quiet but exciting action and Grischa Romen focus can convince, especially the finale is particularly enthralling. Again, the series are new elements elicits, so that this result is convincing.
