As I sit a few phone junkies among friends, I was able to compare different Samsung and i-phone models with my N8. The result, I personally find very amusing. None of the models can be something significantly better than the N8. But the N8 has some skills that the others do not have is eg unrivaled 12 MP camera (except for the Nokia 808, ie from the same manufacturer), expandable memory, FM Transmitter, connection for a USB flash drive, HDMI port and an excellent hardware (metal metal and everything else is plastic!) ...... I know the supposed vulnerability is the internet and the app selection. But I oute me now times, I have been little to no app's found the kind of survival would be mostly gimmicks and some nice gimmicks that no one really needs so.
Therefore, he who seeks a sophisticated smartphone that offers a lot (again very explicitly the camera, but also many other things), has a very good feel and who can well do without Appel and the very latest smartphone's Image, which is the N8 very highly recommended.
02.2014 Addendum: Meanwhile, I have the phone for three years in operation, and it will continue to run perfectly with 99%. One of my concerns when purchasing of the phone what the permanently installed battery. One concern that was in vain. I am frequent callers and use the phone all day for everything else, it can intensively. And the battery power is still absolutely top!
My wife now has the Samsung Galaxy S4. Let's put it this way, solid feel is different ;-) Yes it is faster on the Internet on the go, true, but if a better Android operating system is Symbian as one may confidently doubt. The camera comes to my N8 also not really it. Long story short, I am seriously to buy me a N8 as a reserve :-)
