Callie, sixteen, going to rescue his brother, decided to lend her body to an institution of the future called the "Body of Bank." where those young bodies, are leased by old, Enders. (Let's be direct) But all is not turning as it had planned.
To be honest, I stopped at half the book and I did not dare reopen since. I prefer to wait a little, history to come back with his head and forget some details that I have read and horrified me in the preceding pages. Of course, my judgment is severe then, do not necessarily rely on it. I had, before starting this book, read other similar to a high caliber and match the is not easy, so if this is the first book you read in this style, then go ahead , in contrast, I advise against it.
The story was nevertheless promising, the first pages have titillées me, there is a good plot, but it is poorly conducted. During my reading there was the book and me, I was not among them, I was not even scared for the future of Callie because everything was too predictable. I expected the revival I had as reviewed.
And the love story ... Will he rule forcing each author to insert a love triangle? And, it was so bland. Still, if it was well done, but it could have passed ...
Look at this little example, Blake (one of the victims of the love triangle) and Callie spend a day together, and this is pretty much what it summarize their exchanges and their entire relationship:
"Callie: I have never seen such an orchid with petals.
Blake: I know. (Obviously) are rare. Like you. "
Okay. Stop. I do not mind whether the adolescent literature, but teenager does not mean retarded. I took this as an insult page. It's so simplistic, without relief. Blake is cute in there but it's a detail that creates more distance between the book and me. I attached myself to any character, except those at the beginning. Callie's best friend and brother.
Finally, my words are cruel. Many people have appreciated this book, know that I'm difficult taste, then you can make your opinion yourself. But it was so promising!
2.5 It is for me, sorry.
