18 firecrackers and two new - piecemeal, but indispensable!

"The best" out of forty years of band history on a CD - can not work! The selected 18 classics are indeed beyond reproach and, of course indispensable, when talking about The Who, but are at least as many here not to place title too! Only by way of example are: "Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere", "Pictures of Lily", "I'm Free", "The Seeker", "Let's See Action", "Join Together" or "Baba O'Riley". In Germany, around 30 singles were released 1965-1982, to come, depending on personal preference for some album tracks as delicacies, so you do not really need with less than a double CD to go to the starting line. Polydor has the 1985 hammer out quite well with "The Who Collection" and a selection of 31 titles!
That leaves the two admissions "Real Good Looking Boy" and "Old Red Wine", a tribute to former Elvis Presley, the latter just such previously died of the two years bassist John Entwistle. Then were Greg Lake and Pino Palladino is committed to working on the four-string. The CD is thus actually indispensable, despite considerable gaps in the "Best Of" area for collectors.
2007 by the way a new edition of this compilation, on the "Summertime Blues" was released by "Baba O'Riley" and "Old Red Wine" by "It's Not Enough" from the 2006 album "Endless Wire" have been replaced.
Given the current "battle price" of 5 euros you can not go wrong here, especially as the maxi-single will be traded with the two new titles as absolute rarity to a multiple of this price!
