# Installation
The installation of the hard disk has successfully carried out very easily and also by laymen. The housing will be the necessary screws and a screwdriver is available. This, however, is of poor quality. For installation of my 1.5TB hard drive I have therefore used its own screwdriver. The installation itself was easy and hassle free. Only 2 screws must be loosened to open the case. The hard drive is mounted with 4 screws on the other bracket. Finally, the slide has been pushed back into the housing and the cover screws are screwed.

# Processing
The case itself is made of metal, the front and back cover with connections and switch is made of plastic. In the stand, the housing is only clamped, but this is sufficiently strong. USB and power cables make a good impression. The USB cable has a thick outer shell and is therefore a bit rigid. The rear LED has a pleasant luminosity.

# Operation
The controller allows for writing high data rates. When you copy from my laptop to the external hard drive, the data rate was between 60 and 90 MB / s. Possible that here my laptop hard drive prevented higher write rates. When not in use, the controller turns the drive into standby mode. On my laptop, it was with Windows 7 and Ubuntu no problems in recognizing the hard drive.

Conclusion #
Low price, good housing and a fast controller. Perfect.

Addendum 14:03:13:
Have now another housing in operation. The data transfer rates move when copying large files in the same frame (60-80 MB / s). So far, no problems have occurred. Only the short USB cable interfere, so I exchanged it for a 3 meter copy.
