Brief overview of the - my impression - Highlights:
Automatic shutdown after the program ends
Energy saving - 'zeolite' drying - and low water consumption
Nevertheless, outstanding cleaning
Very quiet
Very good install, very good 'graphic' instructions
Very easy to use
Three drawers - an own dishwashers tab catcher
Disadvantages:
Directly after the program stops water drops on the crockery, especially in the cutlery drawer
Something complicated programming
Stainless steel operating area very sensitive to fingerprints, but this is normal for steel
Installing the appliance:
This is really simple, but requires the installation situation indeed some strength - Push the dishwasher in the niche. For instructions, is very good, but one of each image must be but very accurate view to be able to detect everything. All small parts and screws are supplied including an apron for the worktop including six nails.
What I found not quite perfect, was the attitude of the feet, the device is supposed to be 'clamped' between countertop and floor. The rear foot is adjusted from the front through a screwdriver or a hex nut. I have used the Schreubendreher and me this screw is in place while high screw something up and I could not almost reach. Then went but still barely. The front feet, I then immediately adjusted with a wrench, since they otherwise have only indentations in the floor space that can be adjusted using a screwdriver. I would not recommend. This is done only once and therefore everything OK but not perfect solved.
For the decorative panel Siemens has included three different widths aluminum sheets in order to regulate the distance between the decorative plate and panel flexibly and you can also order longer. With us the Medium plate paired with our decorative panel. The dishwasher itself with two screws screwed nor sideways in the doorway to the adjacent kitchen cabinets fixed. The decorative panel is glued with two Moosguummis and screwed with two screws either side of the trap door from behind the door. Keeps bombproof and can be very finely and precisely adjust so that the level to the other kitchen cupboards fits. The rest are just water and power cable that has a connector to the dishwasher and is not firmly attached.
Private:
I have never experienced such clean glass jars of a dishwasher. Even a Siemens HiSense device that we had among others previously, has not flushed clean as the SN56M598EU. We use it with two-Tabs, rinse aid and salt.
You can also use it with the 'X-1 in Tabs' and then turn off the warning lights on the programming.
So as to obtain an excellent result, but you should consider a few things, because apparently dried only in the wake of the normal term the dishes right through the 'zeolite' drying. I once made a wash cycle at the beginning and just after the wash cycle had finished, the machine open and really, just in the cutlery basket, you could still see the water drop. That was really not that great.
Our normal usage but at night turn on the dishwasher and remove the next morning.
The automatic shutdown of the dishwasher, that's no problem. These can be programmed, but you can also leave it on the default value of one minute. Alternatively, you also have only 120 minutes to choose from.
The problem with the residual water after the end of the program is probably due to the characteristic of the zeolite-drying, which is indeed a mineral that generated by water, heat. This less energy is used for drying, making the drying process but overall seem longer. If you wait some time after the end of the program - 1 day I would say - and does not open the door, then everything is perfectly dry. Well, save electricity is, just not timesaving.
Otherwise, everything is as with other dishwashers - salt indicator, rinse-aid, program display, etc.
The dishwasher has a total of six different programs with an automatic temperature on the degree of contamination 'Auto 45 ° -65 °' controls.
The three baskets I find very convenient and they offer plenty of space - we are a family of four. The center can also be adjusted in the height, so that one is really flexible. The lack of cutlery basket brings a bit of space. Many additional collapsible levels and two folding glass holder for up to 12 tall glasses, on the back of the lower basket. A plastic as an additional layer and an additional strap for more glasses.
The average basket has also a collection basket for dishwasher tabs in which to resolve this. I think that's very good because I have often found that the door to the dishwasher tablets by high plate or boards could not open and the tab in the flap remained. This is effectively prevented by this small but smart idea. Well thought through.
In the cutlery drawer, you should pay attention only to the fact that the spoon lying with the opening facing downwards. Then no rinse water collects in the spoons.
Programming / Settings:
Many things can be programmed on the device as well as for example 'intensive drying' which is not recommended in the Owner's Manual for delicate items.
The programming itself is a bit cryptic, eg 'hold program button (A) and start button (9) keep it pressed until the digital display H: 0 ... appears'. So that was at the Hisense, we had achieved with a clear text display and much easier to use in advance. Do not understand why Siemens here not a little more ease of use provides but that is probably reserved for the top models.
