This compact alarm clock perfectly meets my expectations! It is very poorly illuminated - just enough to be able to read the time in darkness and without the device illuminates the room (which is often the case on other wake of this type). In addition, pressing the top button allows to greatly increase the brightness ... just in case! Of course, the major reason for the purchase is the radio clock! How fortunate not to worry about setting the alarm time. This is a purchase for my oldest son is in boarding; it is less stressed at the time of daylight savings time changes in season => no risk of being wrong!
