The device does not fulfill its most important function! Say: The parent turns regardless of the distance to the base unit simply - you can not hear the baby crying.

At first you hear the parent still rushing the speaker and the white LEDs on the device indicate that everything is working properly, the green light "link" lights. Then the LEDs and the sound of the speakers are switched off suddenly. One no longer gets from that date, if the baby cries. But this is disastrous: The green light "link" will remain lit so that you deceitfully thinks everything was working properly. With us the baby has probably cried a long time until we mitbekamen it.

Particularly annoying and incomprehensible, I find the fact that the problem at Philips is apparently known for some time to be sold (see older reviews), yet still devices with this error.

A recall of the company for the device SCD 530/00 does not exist.

This is irresponsible.
