For us it was just as we in "Catholic": After less than three months to film / coating peeled off the plate. Our baby presented to us at dinner with the exclamation "Wa?" a piece of foil. At first we thought they would have found somewhere until we realized that the film barely visible in small pieces and with the naked eye detached from the plate. That's a No! We have no idea if and how much they had eaten them ... Unfortunately, the Philips Avent customer service was not helpful. That was some call centers, in which the lady once had to consult with Philips. We then received the answer that the plates were safe, and we should change it for safety's sake after 3 months. A Joke. In our experience, we can recommend the plate under any circumstances.
