Because what should know: You pay the additional cost of the more expensive models usually not for the better toothbrush. No toothbrush is generally the same, there is little difference, at least in the high-priced units. You pay only for more features: Bluetooth, SmartGuide, more cleaning modes, more brush heads, interdental heads, chic travel cases, holders for heads, bag for the charging station etc. And these extras can be downright gild Brown.
Even with the equipment with 20,000 and 40,000 pulsations like you may think: The more the better, but in all honesty I myself have never observed this difference and my dentist said that one should not pay attention.
The only thing he said which was immensely important in electric toothbrushes is the feature, which is mandatory for me:
The Pressure sensor. More details about this later.
This made toothbrush and for me personally this is that only upgrade that requires an electric toothbrush.
Even more cleaning modes I need not personally, I brush always in the same mode. Therefore, this for me even a mode has too much because I so must always press twice to turn the Toothbrush (or 1x long). Perfect she would with only one cleaning mode.
That would be for me beyond the only reason to buy me a more expensive Oral-B toothbrush: Any special cleaning modes if I really need it for medical reasons. Otherwise, the more expensive toothbrushes are all very well, if you need what they bring all highly recommended by themselves, but who simply looking for a good electric toothbrush that anything can what an electric toothbrush can to that is served with this one dead right.
Below briefly a few comments on important features for me of this toothbrush: Cleaning quality: The most important criterion of a toothbrush can actually deal with the fastest. The cleaning quality is great, has confirmed to me even my dentist. In just two minutes, has a good cleaning experience, who wants to have it all perfect chooses my three minutes variant. I clean for years with Oral-B toothbrushes and am very happy with it. In normal mode, the toothbrush vibrates every 30 seconds and lights up green. This is the sign to change quadrants. So you start eg the top left of the brush, after 30 seconds you do then the upper right on, after 30 seconds at the bottom right and bottom left ultimately. In intensive mode, the time is extended to 45 seconds at

Pressure sensor
When I talked to my dentist about electric toothbrushes he said that he did not a fan of was there, because you would really impress always firmly with those things. The cleaning performance would indeed unsurpassed, as long as one does not use a brush head of the dirt massaged directly into the gums (such as the TriZone-heads), but for the gums of pressure would be absolutely no good. Therefore, it is very good that this toothbrush has a multiple Pressure sensor. You clean and pressed too hard the toothbrush lights up red. Which is great and I would never use a toothbrush brush that does not have this feature. Especially when you have something new is you initially surprised how many starts the Pressure sensor and how little pressure you actually needed to obtain a good cleaning performance. This then has the advantage that on the one hand you have a healthier gums and keep that on the other hand, the brush heads longer. Over time you develop a feel for it and the Pressure sensor is no longer actually activated (at me loudly App on average per 3 min brushing more than 1-2 seconds)
Brush Heads
In principle you can use all the brush heads from Oral-B so. One can also, if you want this, use cheaper brush heads from other manufacturers. What you use is probably taste Zache. I like the TriZone brush heads do not, but all variants of the round heads. The enclosed here are great!
Accumulator
The battery does not last quite a week with me usually. I have not really stopped since I anyway have always place the toothbrush on its charging station. Although one should be discharged once every few months completely sure the toothbrush, supposedly does the battery well. The battery is firmly installed. If it is broken down the toothbrush. While there is at Amazon for solutions on how to replace the battery, but you have to be technically talented but.
I've never used any Philips toothbrush in which the battery will last longer but. But for me, does that, it would still be nice if Brown finally answered his buyers and to come up with an alternative solution here can
