I have this home theater system chosen (my wife), because it is not really comparable priced is in the quality and features.
My requirements are that can run on the system all my equipment, that would be the Xbox360, Cable TV Receiver, smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.
Problem is, my Xbox360 can only RCA (Aux) or transmit the audio signals via HDMI, the TV Receiver also only via RCA, HDMI or Optical.
The home theater system has an optical (Toslink) input, RCA (Aux) and HDMI. Also Bluetooth.
I just close to your home theater system via the optical input to the Samsung TV. The Receiver and the console are connected via HDMI. Problem solved, the audio signals (5.1) are output via the optical output of the TV and end up at the home theater system that the processing can.
The boot of the player is proceeding apace, Blurays play well. No Felt half minute wait as it used more.
The menu system is easy to understand, the sound settings (speaker volume individually adjustable frequencies plus the total for all) you can even during playback of a movie or other also adjust the way without interrupting it.
The sound quality is perfectly adequate for the price and "good". It does not sound excellent and superb, which is normally one knows the price, because you have to but much deeper into their pockets.
But you can here but turn up well without it even drowned out or distorted, the subwoofer sometimes seems a little too dominant in some frequencies so that one can not change directly. But does not interfere further.
I hoped for a lot of the apps, specifically Amazon Prime, which is not available. Netflix, Maxdome, Spotify and Cinetrailer are the most well-known there, the rest of you can actually throw it away for me. Too bad, because I'm a bit disappointed. One would have to think twice to shift to Netflix, if nothing will change there.
MKV with DTS sound track he plays flawlessly, just as all other formats.
In operation, the fan down Volume 15 goes on with me, but as you would look at the movies, listening to music or otherwise no longer perceive anyway. The cable length for the loudspeakers is more than sufficient.
Have 2 NAS and both he automatically detects the network. Detects all formats and it also plays off without problems. Super.
One can Heimkinosystem principle first only connect via LAN, far as I know but you can also have a supported WLAN stick also plug, it has a USB port that is on the front panel behind a cover. There is also the headphone output (jack) and also the Bluraylaufwerk to also there behind the bezel.
Front during Blurayplayer is then the text LED display that always indicates in which menu you are in (Apps - online, play the movie - hour, minute, second, etc.)
If you have connected his television via Toslink, you need only turn on the TV in the future, the home theater system goes with and then outputs the sound from. Class for me, I will remain a remote control saves for dress.
Thus, you need not switch when you play console or anything, because everything is looped through the TV to the system.
Conditioning goes out alone after a certain time that can be set.
On the whole I am very happy for the price currently, for what you get, you can not complain. Only with Amazon Prime Instant Video I'm a bit disappointed, but it can have many reasons why you will not be offered there.
