I have long toyed with the purchase of a DSLR but me through, more or less qualified, put off statements like "there you can see little difference to a good compact camera" or "the standard lenses can forget you, to make really good pictures You also need lenses for several hundred euros ... ".
But when I date a A230L including 18-55er lens looked on offer now, I could not resist.
Of course I was a bit skeptical but I am not a professional and I have just promised a better image quality and better options than with my compact.
Home unpacked the camera I was pleasantly surprised (well, I must admit that I am somewhat fond of Sony or many Sony products possess, but that also has its reason: Quality).
So the A230L.
Although plastic makes the camera a very high-quality impression.
But now to the actual, the image quality.
After reading some photos (initially only in automatic mode) and these have been viewed on the PC, I was more than excited. So a good picture quality, I had hoped but I did not expect though.
Makes my Fuji F40 already really good pictures, the images of the 230L to classes are better.
Just act professional and better.
Also manages almost every photo (like back in the 80s with my Canon EOS 620).
Even the built-in flash has a very high efficiency.
Also shooting handheld without flash, evening roomlight are sensational. The image stabilization does a good job here.
In more details I will not go on to say that has been done extensively in other reviews.
Short and good; The Sony A230L is for someone like me, the very high demands on image quality but is not quite the "professional photographer" is perfect, I would buy me immediately.
